Practical advice:

• 💧 For correct installation, check that the pipe is free of scratches and that it is deburred before inserting it into the fitting.
• 💧 The John Guest fitting should not be tightened too hard: it should be tightened by hand and, if using a wrench, a maximum of half a turn more than hand-tight.

Making a joint:

○ Cut the tube perpendicularly ○ Push the tube into the fitting until it stops ○ Check the tightness by pulling the tube

Disconnection: ○ Before disconnecting, make sure the system is depressurized. ○ Push the hose and clamp towards the fitting and remove the hose.
